Around us

Our hotel is located in a strategic position for visiting Ischia and learning to observe it with the eyes of those who really live here, without ever losing touch with nature, which is an indispensable part of an island so green and surrounded by sea!

Ours is a quiet area, deeply linked to the territory and with lots of things to see in the vicinity. One of the most authentic areas of Ischia, according to our guests! Discover with us the things to see on the Island of Ischia and the points of interest you absolutely shouldn’t miss ...

Sorgeto

Our hotel is located just 200 meters and around 200 steps from the source of Sorgeto, reachable on foot in 5 minutes. It hosts a pebble beach and is famous for its warm thermal waters, which form natural pools where you can swim all year round and at all hours: an experience you absolutely should try!

Sant'Angelo

Only 2 kilometres from the hotel, there is the village of Sant'Angelo, probably the most beautiful place on the Island of Ischia. It is a fishing village, with numerous colourful alleys that expand so as to form a fascinating labyrinth, and a small square that evokes romantic and exclusive moments. It is really worthwhile to dine in one of the restaurants a few steps from the sea, to let yourself be tempted by shopping or simply to walk and get lost in the thousand glimpses opening up before your eyes.

Poseidon Garden

At about 4 kilometres from our hotel, the Poseidon Gardens are the largest spa park in Europe and the most famous calling card of Ischia! Here, the well-being is perceived already by walking through the pools and the majestic gardens. Located in the Bay of Citara, the Poseidon Gardens thermal park offers more than 20 different types of thermal pools, with temperatures ranging from 15 to 40 degrees. And there is also a wellness centre, a well-equipped beach, and 3 refreshment areas. With over 6 hectares of terraces immersed in absolute peace, every corner of the park is adorned with plants and flowers from all over the world. Reachable from the hotel with a free shuttle departing at 10:20 a.m. and returning at 6:30 p.m.

Citara Beach

Among the most beautiful beaches of Ischia, there is the Citara beach. Bordered by the promontory of Punta Imperatore, the bay is characterized by a stretch of free beach and stretches of beach with bathing facilities. This is where the famous Poseidon Gardens are located, the largest spa park in Europe. The beach can be reached thanks to the free shuttle to the Poseidon Gardens, reserved for our guest, departing at 10:20 a.m. and returning at 6:30 p.m.

Maronti beach

Another unmissable beach, if you are staying on the Island of Ischia, is the Maronti Beach. Reachable from Sant'Angelo on foot or by typical taxi boats, the Maronti beach is the longest beach on the island (almost 3 kilometres) tucked away between LE PETRELLE and the promontory of Sant'Angelo. Also, this coastline is characterized by the alternation of free beaches, bathing establishments and small restaurants. We have special agreements with establishments that are located in Sant'Angelo and Maronti, and there is a free shuttle available to our guests that leaves from the hotel towards Sant'Angelo at 10:00 a.m., and returns at 6:00 p.m.

Monte di Panza

(low difficulty, two-way route length: 3 km).
A perfect compendium of the peculiarities of the southern side of the Island of Ischia, the highest one therefore the most scenic one. The marvellous view stretches from the centre of the hamlet up to Maronti, passing through Sant'Angelo, and crossing some of the most beautiful places on the island. To mention only some of them: Santa Maria al Monte, Pietra dell'Acqua, Bocca di Serra, Monte Vezzi, Testaccio, and of course, the two bays, the one of Sorgeto, and the other one of Pelara. To complete the picture, in the background, the Sorrento peninsula and Capri, the blue island.

Bay of Pelara

(medium difficulty, two-way route length: 4 km).
A small inlet on the south-western side of the island. Several years ago, the path that leads to the bottom of this natural riverbed has been restored, thus allowing to experience one of the most characteristic naturalistic jewels of the Island of Ischia. La Pelara offers a great alternation of naturalistic sceneries along its path: at the beginning, there is a suggestive holm oak wood, then a dense fern vegetation and finally a barren, stony path, interrupted, here and there, by robust wild agaves, all the way to the panoramic sea view, where you can contemplate the spectacle of the world reflected in this corner of unspoiled nature.
